Family Observation Report
3:00 PM- I arrived on the home of Diana Gitonga, Dwayne Gitonga and Durone Gitonga. Ms. Gitonga met me downstairs in the lobby. She was waiting for Dwayne and Durone to come home from school.
3:21 PM-Durone came home. Ms. Gitonga asked him if he had homework and his text books. He told her yes. She asked him if he ate lunch He told her he had a grilled cheese sandwich.
3:26PM- Dwayne arrives home. He goes into the Ms. Gitonga’s room and She tells him they are being observed again.
3:30PM- Dwayne and Durone are playing soccer in the living room. Ms. Ms. Gitonga is in the Kitchen on the phone telling them she is not comfortable being under “surveillance”. She works from home and needs privacy
3:45 PM- Ms. Gitonga asked Durone for a list of his home assignments. Then, tells him to start his homework. (He has a corner in the living room reserved for …show more content…
Ms. Gitonga checks on him.
7:42 PM- Ms. Gitonga is giving Durone clothes to try on. He has out grown his things. Dwayne gets in the shower.
7:45 PM- Durone is in the living room playing with the ball. Ms. Gitonga tells him to put the ball down. He is not listening. She walks over to him and takes the ball from him and guided him to the corner to and said. “Put it down.” Ms. Gitonga tells Durone to sit down on the couch and she puts pizza in front of him.
8:00 PM- Dwayne gets out of the shower. (He is wearing the same outfit as before.) He heats up his dinner. The family is in the living room eating together.
8:10 PM- Durone sits next to Ms. Gitonga and whispers something to her. She tells him, “It is Okay.” Then gives him a hug. He goes in the kitchen to get ice cream.
8:22 PM- The family is eating, talking and watching TV.
8:30 PM- Durone was told to brush his teeth and take his vitamins. Ms. Gitonga takes out the trash. Dwayne turns on his game and eating an apple.
8:36 PM- Ms. Gitonga is in the bathroom talking to Durone. Ms. Gitonga comes out and tells Dwayne to turn the TV
