A traditional family is not a family without a housewife. Housewives never use to be appreciated or accepted as it is today. I always know it is Thanksgiving morning when I awake to the smell of the turkey roasting in the oven and the cinnamon apple spice tea brewing on the stove. The rest of the morning is spent helpingmy mom and grandmother cooking in our large open kitchen. It is a rule in our house that no man is allowed in the kitchen while we are cooking unless he is coming to help with dishes; otherwise the men eat all the food as it is being prepared.…

When together, they feel whole” (Carlson & Mero, 2013, p155). In life, no matter what people say, we need someone there to catch us when we fall. Having family structure gives our life a sense of strength and being, when days are tough turning to your loved ones makes things better. In life, there are people worth thousands of dollars, but when they die who’s there to collect the assets? Without family who’s going to carry on your legacy, that’s why it’s important to have a strong family base. For me family is your blood line, people who accept your flaws and all, and love you…
