Farewell Speech
A very Good morning to respected principal, teachers and my dear friends

I’m really happy that I got a chance to speak to all my friends from college on this occasion

Today as I stand over here and look out to my wonderful friends a smile crosses my face with a tear in the eye.....

Two years ago our journey started at Clara’s college. We were not let down. Our professors inspired and challenged us throughout this quest to help us achieve our goals. We worked hard to get where we are today. Together we made it through a stream of midterms and finals, and here we are, down to this very last speech.

The strength of our class is very less, but the memories are countless. Strangers to each other we walked in and hand in hand we walk out from here.

Firstly the Naughty students of t.y.bmm would like to apologise with all our hearts to our dear principal ajay sir and our teachers who we’ve let down many times. Thanks for giving us a chance every time we let you down. Thanks for believing in us and supporting us in everything we did.

Our college has thought us a lot of things

It has taught us to lose and also enjoy winning.

Taught us to have faith in our own ideas, and to believe in one’s self

Taught us to be gentle with gentle people and tough enough to fight the world

It made us learned enough to step into the real world.

We would like to thank each and every member of this institute who has contributed in making a responsible person out of us. Thank you so much.

As we’ll walk out from here, the college walls bear the story of the most precious years of our life. Our hearts filled with the best memories we could ever make.

There were times we laughed, we cried, we screamed with joy. We participated as a team, won together, the feeling of victory, the excitement all these moments we’ve shared are just priceless.

The feeling of having wonderful people around us is very beautiful. But the pain of moving away from them is even greater.

    Speech To Pi Kappa Phi

This evening, and the brothers you shared it with, is one of those memories. To hear encouraging words from your brothers and your family back home serves as a reminder, that while you may at times be by yourself on the road, you are never truly alone. I remember when you set yourself apart from a lot of the men I recruited during my time on staff. It was not long after meeting you, and less than a full day after you signed your bid. Vince and I were having one of our ever so popular info sessions (I think we had our highest attendance during the expansion with about 8 present). You stopped by towards the end of the presentation and we asked if you would not mind speaking on why you decided to join Pi Kappa Phi. You started to speak about being a part of something bigger than yourself and moved onto family. Then your speech accelerated and you began to make very little sense in your ramblings. However, towards the end, you slowed down and said, “Yesterday I woke up an ordinary guy. Today I woke up a PiKapp, and that is a feeling you just can’t describe”. This is the reason you were able to help lead your chapter to heights Vince and I could never…

Welcome family, friends, teachers, and fellow students and thank you for coming to our 8th grade graduation. As we look forward to the future with excitement and anticipation, it is easy for one to become overwhelmed by the vast possibilities that our futures may hold; however, as we see our goals and objectives out on the horizon, life is about the journey, not the destination.…

Before I start with my speech, allow me to ask a very simple question. Have you guys ever complaint about your school, your teachers, or being a student? I bet almost 99.9% of you guys said yes. We actually complain a lot, over the smallest things and lack appreciation. And though this ceremony recognizes our efforts, it also recognizes and pays homage to the dedication of our parents and our teachers. We would not have been able to accomplish this much without their help. So today, in honor of all the students, thank you. You know, I never expected to be standing up here but here I am, giving this speech and probably doing a terrible job at it because if you couldn’t tell, I’m pretty nervous. But thanks to NAMS, it pushed me out of my comfort zone and onto this stage in front of all you wonderful people. Succeeding from middle school is no easy task, looking back it surprises me that I even made it this far. A famous author, Theodore Roosevelt, once said, “A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a collage education he may steal the whole rail road.” Even though we have a while to get a collage education, we’ve made it here, to the end of 8th grade. Just like a rail road the train has to be set on a good track, just like our education. So far for this 8th grade class, our tracks have been fantastic ever since we first started our journey. Our first stop was 6th grade. New building, new people, and it were a whole new environment. New fears emerged and I remember feeling like a fish out of the sea. The year went by and our next stop was 7th grade, which the teachers have been preparing us for. We came back much more confident than the year before. We looked down at the 6th graders and asked ourselves, “Were we that short just last year?” And by the end of 7th grade, we were on our way to 8th grade. The year started off at a sprint and it seems to have left many of us still trying to catch our breath but 8th grade is also the…

Good evening everyone; teachers, faculty, family, friends, and the Walkerville graduating class of 2008! Wow. This day arrived so quickly – this final high school farewell seemed so distant, but it snuck up on us before we knew it. School is tricky like that; one hour and fifteen minutes can feel as long as “”, while the end of the school year can come around as fast as “Brandon Holland running the 200 meter dash. The other three years went by quickly, but none accelerated as much as this final school year. And what an amazing time it has been, Walkerville – from grade nine to now, the experiences have been unforgettable, and small wonder, considering how incredible this school is and the amazing students that make up this graduating class. There is no other school like Walkerville. it is the best high school in Windsor Essex county. Walkerville is in its own class altogether - When I look at this graduating class, I see a group of outstanding young adults. I see so much respect, acceptance, and just all around an extremely classy group of guys and gals. The talent here, especially in this senior year is phenomenal. This senior student body is made up of simply amazing actors, athletes, artists, dancers, writers, photographers, singers, really smart people, and musicians. But at Walkerville, the talent never stops at one category. To just name a few, athletes take art and dance classes, dancers play bassoon, artists sing, musicians participate in extreme stunts such as the four man piggyback, swimmers play piano, businessmen play broomball, historians write toxic love poems, and if you’re a male dancer, then you’re a hero in general. Moreover, this graduating class is a stellar example of how extraordinary ability can be combined with good character and school spirit. This senior year has constantly shown love for their school, simply by getting involved in any way possible. Helping out at events such as frosh day…

This graduation has already shown us how capable we all are of accomplishing our goals when we really want it. I hope all of us here today can take this personal accomplishment as an example of how anything is truly possible when we put our minds to it. As we all continue on in our lives, let us take each new problem on with confidence, knowing that we have achieved great heights and are equipped with the necessary tools to tackle our futures. The road that lies ahead will not be easy. There will be obstacles and missed opportunities. There will be times when each of us will feel like we cannot possibly go on or when we feel like we are alone. But you can go on and you are not alone, we are all in this journey together. We have made it this far, why should we back out now? As my mother has told me “nothing worthwhile is ever easy”, and that includes making the most of our futures. From this day forward, let us make each decision with our best interests in mind. Let us believe in ourselves so that we may reach our goals and fulfill our dreams. Let us be the best we can be so that we may fill our lives with happiness and pride. We have already taken the first step by making it to this ceremony today, now, it is time to take the next steps in the journey that is our lives and begin to build our futures. Do you know what an eagle does when a storm is coming? The eagle will fly to high spot, and wait for the winds to arrive. When the…

The Class Wall is a great way of getting to know your classmates. On the Class Wall each student shares a little about their selves and their family. Some students explain where they have been, where they’re at, and where there’re going. At this point I have no concerns or difficulties during this module. I really wish I could have found this college after I received my two year degree at Bainbridge College, but everything happen for a…

Four years ago we stepped into high school as individuals seeking to do well, to find our identity, to find our best friend. We opened our lockers for the first time, looked at our schedules, and thought about how awesome it was to finally be in high school. Four years ago we met our best friend, went to our first school dance, and had a crush on a cute senior. Four years ago, we couldn't wait to get older.…

These past years have been eventful, exciting, and strange. I have formed new friendships, and left some behind as I’ve grown. I have been challenged in certain aspects of academics, and in social situations, but all of these have built me up into the person I am today. Although our class has made our fair share of mistakes and bad decisions, they do not define us, and I know we will continue…

After the speeches students from each class lined up in the auditorium. Many of us waited eagerly for our turn to go the main stage to receive our diplomas from the dean. We were more than two hundred but I was waiting patiently. Of course I was very excited. Soon after that, it was my turn. How can I describe that feeling you have been waiting for so long? As I heard my name, I stood up, walked to the stage and the dean handed my diploma after shaking each other's hands. A second later I heard the applause and the unforgettable moment of feeling proud, that yes, I did it! It was an amazing feeling to stay there in front of everyone, especially in front of your family, your loved ones and see the joy in their eyes. In that seconds and on the way back to my seat I recalled a lot of memories from the last five years. All the positive and negative aspects of being a student came to my mind like the hard exams or the fun time with…
