First of all ,I would like to take this opportunity to thank and extend my appreciation to all of you who are present tonight. It is often understated the influence a caring family, an interested teacher or a supportive friend can have upon the success of a person regardless of age.
Whether you are parents, teachers, family members, or friends, you have all contributed for the class of 2009 in reaching this goal ,of acquiring their High School Certificates.
Class of 2009, Congratulations, you’ve made it through high school.
So now, what do you do? Your futures are now, more than ever, dependant upon you. Your actions, your decisions, and what you choose to do
From now on, you will go solo, although with the safety net of a family member or a supportive friend,.We know you will do it well, even if you’re not quite sure of this yourselves. Whatever you have chosen to do, We know you will find success. Remember, if you think you can, you will; if you think you can’t, you won’t; in the end the choice is yours.
We will be feeling a little bereft at school, a feeling that will get a little stronger after tonight. It will certainly be very strange not seeing your faces, hearing your voices and laughter coming from your classroom. We are a little sad that now it is all over, and yet, We are filled with anticipation, expectation and excitement for you all. This is it! This is your time! We can’t wait to see what you do with yourselves.
We will always keep in our hearts, the many lessons learned and fond memories. One can gage the value of an association by the quality of the experiences and we can honestly say that working with you all, has never been boring.
I tried to think of something profound to say tonight, but it may be too presumptuous to assume that I could impart any great wisdom . Ultimately ,it’s your journey, your choices and your adventure and all I would like to offer is
