MIAMI, FL (NOV 12, 2011) The signature fundraising event of “The Ladies on Action” for St Jude Childrens Research Hospital, this year is schedule for friday December 16,2011 at the Vizcaya museum .

This year the show will include individual store - sponsored segments from prestigious Miami retailers and new Miami designers. Guests will be delight as they view a fabulous catwalk of elegant and hi-end fashions in an array of categories from sports wear to evening couture.

This years local designers include: Patrick and Fabrice Tardieu of Bogosse, Eduardo de las Casas, Julian Chang, Marjanne Kalf, Silvia Tcherassi, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera and retail presentation of Cruise fashion will be presented by Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Fashions from both the designers and the retailers are presented in a fast-paced, live runway show.

The 15 Th anual “Style in the City” fashion show will take place at Viscaya Museum 3251 South Miami Avenue Miami, FL 33129 on Friday December 16, 2011. The red carpet begins at 7:00 pm , followed by dinner cater by Barton G, and the fashion presentation at 9:00 pm. Individual tickets are $200. Tables of 10 may be reserved at the benefactor level for 5,000, which includes premier seating. For tickets or more information call 786 488 2611

Proceeds from the event will go towards “The Ladies on Action” organization to support the pediatric cancer division of the St. Jude children's Research Hospital. Last year the show raised more than $585.00.
