Johnny Depp is one of the most talent actors I’ve seen. He is perhaps one of the most versatile actors of his day and age in Hollywood. He’s able to go from an awkward, frighten teen (Edward Scissorhands), to an investigator (From Hell), an egotistic pirate (Pirates of the Caribbean), and even to a joyful candy-maker (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Also, he has made an art of disappearing into his roles. Where it is easy to forget that he’s the same person. Furthermore, he doesn’t play it safe when choosing his roles. He experiments with different characters and gives life to them.
Not only is he extremely talented, but he is also a generous man. He is part of several charitable causes. He supports Make A Wish Foundation, and donates frequent packages to the children. He also tries to visit the children when possible. Additionally, Depp participates in many charity auctions, by donating items to support the homeless and people that are in need of hospice services. Not only is he generous to people but to animals as well. He supports and donates to the Dogs Deserve Better charity, which offers help to canines that are mistreated by their owners.
Johnny Depp is also a devoted person. He is exceedingly devoted to his family. Becoming a father has given him great strength. His favorite activity is to be home playing with the children. Also, his family has given him a reason to exist in this world. In addition, he is devoted to his friends. He’s willing to take on any role Tim Burton has to offer. Finally, Depp is devoted to his fans. He always signs autographs for crowds, and even at the airport while carrying luggage. He also surprises his fans at events or in the public.
“Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Peal,” led me to this amazing person.
There aren’t many actors like Johnny Depp, and I admire him even more for standing out against the rest. He is a gifted actor, kindhearted, and a devoted person. Johnny Depp is my favorite actor, and I admire him not only as an actor but as a person.

As Laurell K. Hamilton, a famous American fantasy writer, once said, “There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds.” This quote directly applies to the little-dark-puppy-kicked-too-many-times character named Johnny Cade from S.E. Hinton’s timeless novel The Outsiders, who has both mental and physical scars from his horrific beating at the hands of the Socs -which not only linger upon his skin, but also penetrate his heart. In chapter two of this engaging and teen-centered novel, we dig deeper into the past of Johnny Cade’s life, thanks in part to a captivating first-person flashback from Johnny’s fellow Greaser, Ponyboy Curtis. While Ponyboy and his fresh friend Cherry Valance, a Soc…

Jim Carrey is one of the funniest actors to be in the movie business. In 2005, Jim Carrey started the Better You Foundation, which addresses global food security by supporting the System of Rice Intensification. SRI is a sustainable agricultural methodology which significantly increases rice productivity, allowing farmers to go to market with their rice and earn a better living for their families. This is just a organization that he had started, but he also donates money to foundations that help treat Aids, HIV, autism, and more. Matt Dillion for example, really sold his performance as racist cop who abuses his authority. Dillon does a good job in showing how his character has a self-realization when he is pulling Thadie Newton’s character out of the burning car. She refuses his help because earlier in the movie he sexual harassed her, but Dillon’s character eventually gets her to put that aside and get her out of the fire. Dillion does an excellent job of showing how his character changed in that scene on how he should not abuse his authority on people. Another actor who did a good job was Ryan Phillippe. He played a cop who always tried to do the right thing but ends up killing a man who he thought had a gun but did not. Phillippe did a good job of showing how is character did the wrong thing when he shoots Larenz Tate’s character Peter. These two scenes show how both actors Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillippe sold their performances as a racist cop and a cop who wants to do the right…

Johnny is a hero in The Outsiders because he has helped people. The first way he has helped people is when he killed Bob to save Ponyboy from drowning. This helps people because that way Ponyboy survives and does not die. The second way he has helped people is when he decided to turn himself in. This is an act of heroism because he helps Ponyboy because it makes his life easier by not having to hide out all his life and by being able to go places and be a real person again. The third and final way Johnny is a hero is because he saves kids from the burning church. This helps people because it saves many kids' lives while risking his own life. He had the roughest background to me out of the whole gang. He always had this spark of sadness in his eyes. The gang thinks of him as an abused puppy. To me after all he has been put through, he still does all these heroic things in the book, and seeing his background and seeing what he does just makes my mind blown. He has defiantly impacted me. He made me think that not all heros have a perfect super life. You don't have to be rich, or have a perfect life to show acts of kindness and braveness. Johnny showed both, and he may have made some mistakes, but everyone has and will. He may not be like every gang member , but he definitely showed that , he can do what he puts his mind to.…

Johnny Depp is one of this generation’s most talented actor. His character development is beyond compare. Johnny Depp has acted in a plethora of movies, but in Benny and Joon and some others, his physical movements are very similar to some very famous silent film actors. Johnny’s character, Sam, is an eccentric one: he’s awkward, silly, and has a very imaginative mind. Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton acted as fathers to Johnny’s acting, leading him to new ideas, more characters in his career, extreme physical movement, and more explosive entertainment. In Benny and Joon, Johnny Depp’s physical reactive, and emotional acting strongly represents Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton.…
