Favorite Restaurant
Jenny Perez
My Favorite Restaurant Italian cuisine is its specialty. It has many dishes that will make you feel as if though you are in Italy. “What magnificent person created this”, is what I ask myself every time I indulge in their creations. The aroma that is present when one walks into this restaurant is simply mesmerizing. This restaurant is Olive Garden which just so happens to be my favorite restaurant.
I enjoy eating at Olive Garden because of its Italian dishes, beverages, and deserts. First I enjoy eating at olive garden because of its variety of Italian dishes. Chicken alfredo is my #1 dish. The taste is just mouthwatering, because of its creamy texture, and the slivers of grilled chicken breast that are on top. Lasagna is also a great tasting dish. This dish entails of layered pasta with meat sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan and romano cheese. Its quite filling. You can never go wrong with the all time signature Italian dish of spaghetti with meat sauce. Olive garden’s spaghetti is simply delicious. All these dishes are complete with the endless bowls of breadsticks that are just to die for. I also like to eat at olive garden because of its flavorsome beverages. My top 2 drinks I always order are strawberry lemonade and raspberry tea. The strawberry lemonade is much sweet and tangy beverage than most. The raspberry tea is a much smoother drink it’s still sweet but not as sweet as the strawberry lemonade. I always pair these 2 beverages to wash down with my entrées. Finally I love to dine at olive garden because of its scrumptious deserts. I tend to end my meal with either Zeppoli’s or a piece of chocolate mousse cake. Zeppoli’s are soft, traditional Italian doughnuts dusted with powdered sugar, served with a chocolate sauce for dipping. The chocolate mousse cake is a brownie topped with a layer of creamy chocolate mousse. Who doesn’t love chocolate on chocolate? If there’s an olive garden in your area I would definitely

I am currently employed at the Olive Garden in Oshkosh WI so I only thought doing my managerial report project on this service restaurant was appropriate. The Oshkosh Olive Garden was opened in the April of last year and has been running smoothly ever since. Olive Garden is a chain restaurant so there are locations all over the United States around 700 to be exact, this means a lot of the price setting and procedures are set country wide not from restaurant to restaurant. Even so each Olive Garden keeps track of their own sales and personally contributes to the overall company. At Olive Garden we proudly serve lunch and dinner with a casual Italian dining experience. The dinner entrees are priced anywhere from $11- $19 a meal but included unlimited soup or salad and then breadsticks. I have been working at the Olive Garden for about 7 months now so I felt that I knew most of what goes on on the outside of the restaurant but it is time to take a deeper look into the procedures put into this everyday restaurant.…

    Buca Di Beppo Review

For me personally, I love Italian food because of how much Italian’s appreciate the dinner table. What I mean by “appreciating the dinner table” is how Italians take time to cherish the food but also interact with friends and family while you enjoy the authentic meals. Anyone who walks into Buca di Beppo can begin to feel the authenticity of the restaurant because they do a tremendous job escorting customers to their seat and sharing their history that allows you to see why this restaurant has been around for so many years. When you com to the restaurant when its not busy a waiter or a waitress usually escorts customers to their seat by going on a mini tour around the restaurant walking through the kitchen, around the bar and to their seat. I loved the fact that they walk you through the kitchen to show how they use fresh ingredients and how clean and organized their kitchen is. During this tour it really showed the distinct features of an Italian restaurant. Walking through the restaurant with hundreds of framed pictures across the walls of families and celebrities really made the place feel “homey” and “lively”. This certainly reassured me that my food was going to be fresh.…

The Olive Garden is my favorite Italian restaurant for many reasons. As soon as you walk in, you are almost overwhelmed by the hostess's hospitality. You are then warmed by the cozy atmosphere and pretty dangling lights that are streaming from wall to wall. After being seated, you are spoiled with as many servings of bread sticks and salad as you can eat. Their portions are much larger than Carrabba's and even cheaper. My favorite dish is their fettuccini alfredo. Every time that I go to The Olive Garden I get the same thing because I can't seem to make myself get something different in fear that I may not enjoy it as much.…

Guilt. “A cognitive or emotional experience that occurs when a person believes that they have violated a moral standard and bears significant responsibility for that violation.” Guilt is portrayed a great deal in Lasse Hallström’s What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993). Guilt is depicted within the film through Gilbert as he is indecisive between leaving and staying, it is depicted through Bonnie as she believes that she is an incompetent wife and parent, and through Betty Carver, who holds herself responsible for the death of her husband. What’s Eating Gilbert Grape follows the trapped and tedious life of Gilbert Grape (Johnny Depp), through his struggles with responsibility when caring and providing for his family and mentally disabled brother…

Oregano’s uses the freshest ingredients when preparing food. It is said on their menu this disclaimer. I can’t say if that is credible but it sure does taste so. I ordered the chicken penne pasta with marinara sauce that was to die for. The aroma of the oregano and basil filled my nostrils when the waiter sat the plate in front of me. Before I could even place my fork up to take that first bite the waiter asked us if we wanted cheese. My friend declined his offer and the waiter seemed quite offended in a humorous way that made me chuckle. Of course when he asked me I gladly shook my head yes. I think that is when I seen the most beautiful thing ever. He picked up a big cooking spoon and scooped up parmesan cheese from the bucket and placed it over my pasta. In my past experiences at other Italian restaurants they would only give you a little or they will grate the cheese over your plate. The problem with them grating it is that I always want more but I feel like that start getting irritated with me because their arm starts getting tired. So if you ever had this problem Oregano’s is for you! With this order you are able to have refills on your pasta and even able to take one to go. Another plus because usually restaurants want you to just eat it there so they will save on money. The best part I would have to say about the meal was the free pizooki. The hot chocolate chip cookie oozing chocolate…

First of all, the atmosphere is an important thing of one restaurant. Olive Garden has been known for a great Italian meal and family-friendly atmosphere. Olive Garden is an option in order to enjoy with family because the atmosphere is crowded and serene. It is decorated by Italian customs with panting pictures on the wall and fancy interior decoration. Moreover, Olive Garden has many tables to serve everyone such as for a couple, a family, or even for the only person. Dinner is a time for a family together so that the restaurant is more crowded than lunchtime. For example, I went to Olive Garden with my family, and we waited about one hour to have a large space for our dinner. Despite long waiting, I could understand; thus, we were set at a long and comfortable table, and we were appreciated. My family was…

First Impression: The Big Cheese Italian Restaurant lives up to its name. When you first drive up, the parking spaces are tight and the area is very crapped. But once you are seated and begin your dining experience you forget about all the things that are not ideal and enjoy the delicious meals that comes at the right time. For starters, the boys wanted Calamari ($9.95), 12- Wings ($9.95) and the adults had Caesar Salad-Full Order ($9.95). We knew immediately that we were in trouble with the amount of food that was placed on the table in front of us. The Calamari was fresh and not chewy according to the boys, it didn’t last long enough for the adults to taste. The Caesar Salad was absolutely phenomenal. The full size serving feed all three adults and the boys. The lettuce was nice and crisp, the hint of anchovy was just enough to have the essence hit the taste buds with just the right amount of bite. The cracked pepper gave it the right amount of spice and the dressing was sufficient to cover without drowning out the croutons. The addition of red onions to the salad enhanced the overall taste of the salad and we had a hard time stopping.…

Olive Garden is committed to providing every guest with a genuine Italian dining experience and make the guest feel like they are family; in Italian it is called Hospitaliano! In an effort to have competitive advantage over other chain restaurants, Olive Garden emphasizes comprehensive employee trainings in order to provide their customers the best service possible. But even though employees have gone through training, there are some issues that would need to be fixed in order to have 100% customer satisfaction. The issues we have identified for Olive Garden Restaurants are the hostess system, reservations, running of the food, and inputting the order. The hostess system will be implemented by working with the IT department to change the system. The second issue is with the reservations; we suggest taking reservations for a party of five or more and will be placed on top of the list once they arrive to the restaurant instead of having to wait. The third issue is the running of the food; we plan on hiring additional workers who are dedicated to run the food. And the final issue is inputting the guests order, we suggest additional training for the employees or an additional “cheat sheet” stating the times each entrée needs in order to be prepared.…
