Eastern Visayas has 84 public and private resorts combined, among these resorts only 10 are classified as tertiary resorts.
The truth of the matter is that some of them had been neglected due to lack of facilities and manpower in those primary and secondary resorts.
Through these factors, the proposal of establishing a resort in the area would create a great impact not just to drain people to Catbalogan but as an integral part to promote and assess the economic growth of the town, thus to recreate business, a crucial study and investigation is needed to enable the town to maintain and survive through its life span securing its assets.
This also aims to understand more about the subject and its application, and knowledge which will help in the computation in real life situation analysis in considering engineering proper. Since the authors have limited knowledge about this, it would be a pleasure for them to accept comments and suggestions if ever errors were found in the book especially to those who are knowledgeable that may further help enrich the contents of this book.
