Introduction

Today, most of the University of Santo Tomas students are complaining about the deprivation of computer shops for school needs. The students would not find a hard time to find or do what they need for school when we put up our business near UST. The "KuliSHOP" will offer high quality printings and will have high quality computers, that students will be comfortable whatever they wish to do for school needs. We named our sop for no particular reason. We just thought of a name that is catchy and interesting.

- The employees are assigned to help the customers at all times
- A customer that uses a computer for four hours, will have an extension of one hour for free
- Before the customer leaves the shop, the employees will inspect their station if they have left valuable things. So that, the managers would not have a problem regarding the loss of things.
- Before the customer uses the computer, the employees will make sure that the station is clean and organized. So that the customers are comfortable using the computer.
- If customers have complaints, the managers will entertain them. So that the owners will improve the surroundings of the shop.

Internal Customers – In a superstore, Internal Customers expect a high quality of standards. For example for the bare minimum, the shop should be clean. By this I mean the floors should be clean (spillages immediately dealt with), the stock should be stacked tidily, and the toilets should be clean. As I said that is the minimum that any shop could probably get away with. In order to further themselves, a store should have regularly cleaned toilets (hourly checks), polite and well-spoken staff, as these are the people that represent whatever company it may be. Internal customers would also perhaps expect specialised parking because of the fact they are staff, this is a good idea however, as it means the customers can park easily without staff taking their spaces. Another expectation would be the need for well-lit shops, if you walk in to a store and the lights are dim and boring, this doesn’t give a good impression, bright lights make the shop more vibrant and makes customers and employees feel much more awake. Also, even though Internal customers are employees of the shop, since they are currently not working, they would not be permitted to enter the ‘warehouse’ to get something which isn’t on the shelf and would have to ask another member of staff for assistance.…

Some of the items in the gift shop appear dusty and “shopworn.” This may not have a direct effect on the sales of the gift shop but it does have an indirect effect. The gift shop should always remain in good condition like it is thriving no matter what is going on behind the scenes. Making sure that everything is clean and dusted on a regular basis would allow people to see what the gift shop has to offer and attract more customers – and more sales.…

An effervescent drink that releases carbon dioxide under conditions of normal atmospheric pressure. Carbonation may occur naturally in spring water that has absorbed carbon dioxide at high pressures underground. It can also be a byproduct of fermentation, such as beer and some wines. Many curative properties have been attributed to effervescent waters (e.g., aiding digestion and calming nerves), but few have been scientifically tested. The term seltzer once referred to the effervescent mineral water obtained from the natural springs near the village of Niederseltsers in SW Germany. Today, however, seltzer is simply well-filtered tap water with artificially added carbonation. Club soda is also artificially carbonated but contains other additives as well, including sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, sodium citrate, and sometimes light flavoring. Artificial carbonation was first introduced in 1767 by an Englishman, Joseph Priestley, and was commercialized in 1807 by Benjamin Silliman, a Yale Univ. chemistry professor, who bottled and sold seltzer water. After 1830, sweetened and flavored (lemon-lime, grape, orange) carbonated drinks became popular. In 1838, Eugene Roussel added a "soda counter" to his Philadelphia shop; by 1891, New York City had more soda fountains than bars. In 1886, John S. Pemberton, an Atlanta druggist seeking a headache and hangover remedy, added kola nut extract to coca extract and produced Coca-Cola. A pharmacist named Hires invented root beer in 1893. Today, heavily sweetened, carbonated drinks, or sodas, are among the most popular beverages in the world. In the last two decades, the introduction of diet drinks containing artificial sweeteners has increased sales of carbonated beverages. Annual Coca-Cola sales alone total more than a billion dollars, and sodas account for one-fourth of the annual sugar consumption in the United States.…

Employee benefits encompass a broad range of benefits—other than salary—that companies provide to their employees. Some of these benefits, such as workers' compensation, social security, and unemployment insurance, are required by law. The majority of benefits offered to employees, however, are bestowed at the discretion of the business owner. Such benefits, which are commonly called "fringe" benefits, range from such major expenditures as paid holidays, health insurance, paid vacations, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), and profit sharing to more modest "extras" like bestowing performance awards and prizes, providing an employee lunchroom, or paying for a company picnic.…
