As UDFB stated, “Our mission is to provide individuals and families who are in need with food and access to a network of community resources that help them achieve self-sufficiency”, we can classify their mission into short term (in order to solve the hunger issue) and long term (assist people to achieve self-sufficiency). Food bank is the place to distribute food to the need people in order to avoid any needless wastes. Despite UDFB have accomplished their short-term mission, their long-term mission is failed because they don’t provide any support to help the food insecure people become self-sufficient.
