Feliz Navidad Song Meaning

The song Feliz Navidad was written by a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter named, José Feliciano. He made the song, Feliz Navidad, an English and Spanish song because he was afraid that English producers would not produce it. This was the original song not a remake of an older version. Once he wrote the English line ‘I want to wish you a Merry Christmas,’ he knew that they would produce the song. As Songfacts said, “Other artists that have covered the tune include Boney M, Michael Bublé featuring Thalía and Celine Dion. It has also been performed on Glee.” The first time that the charted on the billboard, in 1998, it reached #70. The second time it was on the billboard hot 100 was in 2017 reaching #44.
