Fellow Human Beings
Do human deserve human rights in America? In my opinion, they do have to have human rights. In the documents,’ The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, The intro to the UDHR,’ and,’ A short history of human rights’. These three documents each say why human need rights. In the document, ‘The UDHR,’ it states that people are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards a spirit of brotherhood. This means people are given with rights for a reason and should help other fellow human beings. In the document it also states everyone has a right to life, liberty, and security of person. This means everyone can enjoy things and have freedom while being protected.
In the introduction,’ The intro of the UDHR’, it states all humans are born with equal and alienable rights and fundamental freedoms. This means everyone is born with human rights. The human rights give us basic freedoms. These rights cannot be taken or separated from you. Human right prevents arbitrary or random arrest. Another quote is, the human rights belong to you. Familiarize yourself. Help promote and defend yourself or other people. This means to promote or make yourself to a higher level and defend yourself or other people.
In the timeline, ‘Short history of human rights’, it states, ‘In 1948, the UDHR rights were written by people of the united nations. Fifty-six nations agreed on this document because the millions of people who died’. This means all the people from the United Nations wrote this document and people agreed on it because world war 2 had killed almost 2 million people from the holocaust.
In conclusion, all three documents show why humans need human rights. Human rights stop wars from happening, gives us freedom, and we can protect each other. Human rights are important. So people in America need human rights. Without them we could have bad things. Human rights cannot be taken away.
