The song's country-themed music video featured her as the most stylish cowgirl in town, backed up by the dynamic horn section of the band The Dap-Kings. The song has a confident party vibe with strongly worded feminist lyrics. "Don't buy me a drink, I make my money," she sings in the song's bridge. (Kesha, 2017) Kesha states that it was such an excellent experience composing a female empowerment song, especially since two other men helped her on the journey. She has always shown her a feminist through her career, but in reality she has had a tough time determining who she really is. In the past few years with her songs, she has felt the power of what it means to be a woman and has no shame to demonstrate it in what she sings. As a female, the constant struggle for independence, power, and respect in a male-driven world can be a downright drag, to put it lightly. Belle has always been a bright, beautiful and independent young woman. She tells him that there isn't a moment that could ever be happy and she will never under any circumstances marry him. Belle is always loyal to her father, especially when she decides to trade spots with him when he is captured by the beast. At that same point she swears to her father, she will escape not to worry about her. As the film goes on, rather than stating Belle and Beast’s romantic bond, a few snowball fights and studying in books shows how their affection came to be.
