During the past couple of weeks I have seen countless theories on JFK's assassination that has made me rethink over and over again on who could possibly be the assassin. I made my opinion on the facts and the theories that I learned in class during notes and the movies.…

One of the world’s most devastating and history-changing wars was caused by the assassination of Austria-Hungary’s Archduke Franz Ferdinand. He was next in line for the throne to govern over the Austria-Hungary empire in the beginning of the 20th century, and he was rising at a very dangerous and tense time. In the early 1900s, Austria-Hungary was in a stressful conflict with the country of Serbia. The Serbians wanted the land of Bosnia, in which the Austria-Hungarian empire had annexed into their country, and Serbia wanted to unite all of the Serb ethnic groups to form a country known as “Greater Serbia,” (Bodden 19). They wanted to send a message to Austria-Hungary, and they wanted to show that they meant business. So, the Serbian government…
One of the most disputatious case in the history of America is the assassination of Mr. John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the Commander in Chief of the United States of America. In the Case of Lee Harvey Oswald, I will prove that Mr. Oswald is innocent without a shadow of a doubt, due to the conspicuous yet controversial facts and evidences that substantially stands out. Who in the right mind would think that Mr. Oswald is guilty, when he is just a regular citizen whose life seemed like a collection of clichés from a movie, even though he was a latchkey child, he was able to be independent and stand on his own .…
The already tense European Nation had a lot of problems. Some of them included problems with immigration, now this may not seem like a problem for a country made up of two, but at the time there were many many diseases, most of them easily contagious and deadly. He was able to fix this with upping some of the medical attention given to the people of his country. He was able to calm down the commotion involving the two countries making up the singular nation known as Austria Hungary. He did have flaws, such as racism against the Bosnians, he was known for thinking of the Bosnians as “Pigs, Hooligans, and…
It’s a cold morning on November 29,1952 as I’m woken up by the radio announcing that President- Elect Truman was going to fly to Korea. I thought to myself he must have a death wish and is already becoming president. The Koreans despise the united states so much right now. I wondered what gave him that this crazy idea to fly and try to make peace with the Koreans. Then I started to remember when Eisenhower basically challenged him to come up with a different way to solve the problem.…

A hundred years ago next week, in the small Balkan city of Sarajevo, Serbian nationalists murdered the heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary and his wife. People were shocked but not particularly worried. Sadly, there had been many political assassinations in previous years—the king of Italy, two Spanish prime ministers, the Russian czar, President William McKinley. None had led to a major crisis. Yet just as a pebble can start a landslide, this killing set off a series of events that, in five weeks, led Europe into a general war. The U.S. under President Woodrow Wilson intended to stay out of the conflict, which, in the eyes of many Americans, had nothing to do with them. But in 1917, German submarine attacks on U.S. shipping and attempts…

In 1976, the US Senate ordered a fresh inquiry into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, who was murdered in 1963 during a motorcade in Dallas, Texas while campaigning for re-election. People who had been involved in the original Warren Commission investigations were asked to make fresh statements. The FBI and the CIA were persuaded to release more of their documents on Oswald. New lines of inquiry were opened and individuals who had not previously given evidence were persuaded to come forward. Most important of all, pieces of evidence such as photos and sound recordings were subjected to scientific analysis using the most up-to-date methods and equipment. The House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) completed their investigation in 1979 and they finally came to a discrete verdict that Lee Harvey Oswald fired three shots at Kennedy, one of which killed the president. A fourth shot was fired from the grassy knoll, which was contradictory to the statement printed by the Warren Commission 16 years earlier. They concluded that John Kennedy was assassinated as the result of a conspiracy.…
