As a matter of fact, he was. Receiving a 75.4% yes on votes, Jenkins was therefore inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991 at Cooperstown, Pennsylvania. He also was inducted into many other Hall of Fames including the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame (1987) and the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame (2012).
