In the Education Center, students are separated into twelve grades. All children, no matter which housing they come from, are educated together. They learn subjects such as theology (of all types) science, humanities, economics and mathematics. They also learn the history and government of their society and the world’s. For each grade, different teachers lecture on each subject. No homework is given since parents maintain a disciplined standard among their kids to study. About two-thirds of the land is used for growing produce like corn, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, grains, and a variety of other plants, due to the fact that the majority of Ferocians are vegetarian. Every year, the crops each farmer grows are rotated in order to maintain the soil fertility. There are also built-in water systems that run pipes underneath the ground to supply water directly to the plants’ roots to minimize wasted water and maximize plant growth. GMOs are used for the farming but just ensure that all resources used to grow that plant are very effective. There are no growth hormones, pesticides, antibiotics, synthetic fertilizers or any other items that can harm the environment in any way. This is to ensure sustainability of the crop and the environment. The other ⅓ of the land is used for raising animals such as cows for milk and occasionally their hide and meat, pigs to eat food waste, and chickens for their eggs, feathers and also their meat.
