Your project this week is to create a culminating grammar study guide that will help you to review all concepts we have studied this year in grammar. It will also be a great aid to use next year as you continue to study grammar concepts. These are the basics of learning how to write, and you will get a great review while creating this foldable. You will have every day this week to work on this project, and it is due next Monday, May 12th in case you need the weekend to finish.
You must write the correct definition of each of the terms and provide a CORRECT example of that concept. Each concept must also be in the form of a foldable glued and/or stapled on the folder. You can use my colored paper or your own paper if you bring it to school.
For every three items you complete, you MUST bring it to me and have it checked off before adding it to your foldable. This is to ensure correctness. So, get creative and enjoy creating this invaluable tool for studying for your nine weeks test.

A general definition of the word syllabus is that is an outline or a summary of the main points of a text, lecture, or course of study. Widdowson (1984, p. 26) defines syllabus as a general plan of activities that can be applied in a class to facilitate the learning process. Another general definition of syllabus would be, "description of the contents of a course of instruction and the order in which they are to be taught" (Richards et al. 1992, p. 368). Highlighting a broader concept on this would be Yalden (1984, p. 14) who defines syllabus, is considered as an instrument by means of which the teacher can achieve a degree of accomplishment between needs and social or individual actions in the class. Further adding on that point would be, Nunan (1988a) who states, "syllabus is seen as being concerned essentially with the selection and grading of content, while methodology is concerned with the selection of learning tasks and activities". Hence, it can be then concluded that a syllabus is useful because it specifies the content of the course to be taught.…

It was a very good experience. Our Cle professor decided that we will have an output exam instead of written exam. I am again with my BFAST group and we decided to make our design. By the way, our output exam is to make a t-shirt with a Godly theme design and is to be given to a person. Luckily, I have a skilled group to help me design our t-shirt. During our first meeting, it was productive even though we haven’t had a t-shirt yet. That very first meeting was full of brainstorming. A lot of ideas are coming out form one amazing design. However, we weren’t contented with our design so we have decided to revise it.…
