Prior to meeting with the field supervisor, I would feel excited yet nervous for a new opportunity and hopes of making a good first impression. I would feel anxious and filled with anticipation because of not knowing what to expect. I would expect to impress the field supervisor and hope to be offered the position on the spot, the same day, or the following day.

I would feel comfortable if the support staff was welcoming and kept me updated as to whether the supervisor was on their way or running late. Although I am interviewing for the position, I am also interviewing the supervisor. I would be concerned about the leadership style and professionalism of the supervisor as well as expectations required of the position. I believe the interviewer would be concerned about my time commitment as a graduate student as well as my work ethic in regards to how dedicated I am to the cause.
4. What would you want the individual to know about you (attributes, strengths, resources?
I would l want the field supervisor to know my willingness and eagerness to learn. I would also stress how organized I am and the importance of meeting deadlines. I also believe it would be important to share that I am dedicated and devoted to the task at hand, no matter how miniscule it might be. The field supervisor should also know that some of my strengths consist of creativity and implementing new ways to be more effective.
