Figurative 'And Onomatopoei Have It Your Way'
Figurative is used in all different aspect among restaurant and much other business around us. The figurative that I choose to discuss are hyperbole and onomatopoeia.
“Hyperbole comes from a Greet meaning “over-casting” is a figure of speech, which involves an exaggeration of ideas for the sake of emphasis”. (Literary Devices) One restaurant that uses figurative language is Burger King; there hyperbole is “Have It Your Way”. This figure of speech does not mean that you order a whooper with cheese and add bacon then think you will pay for the same price as a regular whooper. You can order whatever you want on your sandwich, tread a drink for a shake or tread your fries for onions rings, but it will be a little higher than regular price.
