Gregorio Zara
Holder of doctorate in physics. Among Filipino Scientists, he is perhaps the most notable in the field of electricity. Zara formulated the Law of electrical resistance or what is known as the Zara Effect. This law states that all moving contacts between conductors produce a resistance to the passage electrical current which may be kinetic or permanent electrical resistance.
