Bernie Sanders is a Democratic candidate who is running for President. With his leadership experience for a really long time when he was the mayor of Burlington and the U.S. Senate, Bernie Sanders is looking at making America become a much better place for everyone to live. To turn this dream become real, he is offering many issues on his public platform, where every American can go on and see. These issues can significantly impact the face of the American economy if Bernie could put it to work. Although, they seem to be a lot, they serve the same purpose, to make all American the same as each other. On the top of his list, income and inequality is one of his priorities that need to do first. In the past forty years, this problem has growth bigger and bigger. The wage gap between the middle class and the upper class in 1978 has extended a lot till 2010. In 1978 typical male worker made $48,302 versus the top 1% made $393,682, in 2010 these numbers has changed to $33,751 and $1,101,089 based on the documentary movie “Inequality For All” directed by Jacob Kornbluth. Look into these numbers, everyone could see how serious this issue is. Therefore, it is easy to understand why Bernie Sanders is doing his best to shrink the gap. This transfer of wealth makes the richest country in the world meaningless when most of this wealth is in the hand of only 1% whiles the other 99% struggling to make a living.
