Film Analysis: Night Of The Living Dead

This film completely sets the stage for old time horror. It's corny, yet it somehow feeding us that nostalgic classic theme we crave. Zombies have recently gained popularity in our culture, and one can't brag until the've seen 'Night Of The Living Dead'. This 1960's classic is what began it all for the zombie front. Keeping with the theme of our online course, I wanted to try to find the inspiration to this film. The idea perhaps lending itself toward the use of power, fear, or control harnessed to create a thriller for its viewers. In my opinion the "power" is the terror it creates. We humans are distressed by decay, death, darkness, and the grotesque. Also the dramatic and spooky music tones really help create that creepy mood. This movie
