2). The key question that the director is addressing is that Americans are buying too much and this is affecting not only society, but younger generations to have many things not work to get a better environment.
3) The most important information in the film. In documentary “Shop Till You Drop…” show how much we really care about the world when we buy things that most people would already have, but there is that reality where we want the new car or fridge that we have in our homes.
4) The main inferences/conclusions in this film is that for future generations to come into
peace humans would have to overcome the belief of that oh I won’t have enough for my future kids or myself so I need to buy more, and more.
5). The concept(s) we need to understand in this film are that humans all around the world especially Americans should useless because we already have plenty by these concepts the producers mean is that people in American have so much that it seems like we need more fill the empty space in the storage unit.
6). The main assumptions underlying the producers thinking are that the earth is being consumed at fast rate lets blow this up, mine this and that, but what surprised me that most is that to live like Americans the people would need seven earths. However, there is the sense where people recycle which makes us feel better, but in reality, only a certain percentage is actually reused.
7a). If we take this line of reasoning seriously, the implications are that there is a chance in society where Americans change into consuming less, and living a better materialistic world where having less is better.
7b). If we fail to take this line of reasoning seriously, the implications that are future generation are going to be the same consuming the earth at a fast pace. Leaving virtually nothing left to consume.
8). The main points of view presented in the film is that all people should feel guilty of buying items we have in our home already. The other reason is the supermarkets just sell us cheap or what Americans believe is discounted items of Black Friday. I feel that the producer would be sick if they saw this now.
