Film Summary And Film Analysis: Sal Paradise
The movie is themed with an old environment around 1950s or 1960s. It is associated with drugs and sex. It is about a person who is passionate on writing. His name is Sal Paradise. He had his friends namely, Carlo Marx and Dean Moriarty. Dean Moriarty had a wife named, Marylou. They enjoyed being together. They get drunk and smoked marijuana and sometimes they are having sex. Sal and Carlo are great aspiring writers. They are writing a book, poem and stories. One day, Dean and Carlo left for Denver for their own interests. Sal started to feel lonely. He can’t write his book well. In other words, Sal misses them. One night, while Sal is working on his book, his mother gave a letter wrote by Dean. He is invited to go to Denver and bring his talent. At Denver, He met first Carlo giving warm hugs and Carlo immediately bring Sal to Dean while Dean is having sex with Camille. Dean Moriarty divorced with …show more content…
While riding in the bus, Sal meets Terry and have an affair with her. They worked as a farmer in a cotton fields. While Sal is around with Terry, they passionately have sex. After a few months, Sal goes back to New York, his home.
Later at December, Dean, Ed and Marylou visited the place of Sal’s sister which is in North Carolina. Sal gives them hugs and kisses when the moment they see each other. The three haven’t eaten for hours so Sal’s family feed the three. In exchange of the kindness showed to the three, Dean decided to drive Sal’s mother back way home in New York City along with Sal, Marylou and Ed so she will not pay anymore the fee on the train.
Later at New Year’s Eve, they had a party. They drink, dance and stoned as usual and they greet each other “Happy New Year”. The next day, Dean and Sal dropped off Ed at Bull’s place in Louisiana.
