What dangers await a student inside a classroom? Not many actually, but in an overcrowded classroom many things can go wrong.
To begin with, there are many threats that can occur inside the classroom. One of these threats are small but very harmful injuries. Some students might trip on the over flow of other students personal belongings. Some students might even get cloister phobic and cause the student to have a horrible panic attack. On the other hand, a way to solve this problem is to make the rooms bigger, extend the classroom. Along with more space and better walking ability. However, the problem with this is a huge amount of money would be wasted from the school when it could be used for extra circular activities. In addition the process of extending the classroom takes many days maybe weeks or months. There are many threats that are laid out in the classroom that students must avoid
Along, with all the harmful problems in an overcrowded classroom comes the problem of distractions. One of these distractions is listening, there attention will not be on the educator it will be on anything around them. Interaction with their fellow classmates can take away their attention along with their education. An argument towards this method could be group work. Students can be assigned group work to share ideas and influence each other. Maybe even finish faster with consistent work. The catch with this would be is it goes the opposite way to unproductive. Students blowing of work with the result of no assignments finished. Students can carry on conversations besides there assignments instead of completing it.
In a classroom with an over flowing class of students there attention will be hard to capture this would not benefit them. Many teachers have a hard time capturing the attention of the students as it is. Students listening skills might drop along with their academic grade. Especially with the students that can care less about their education. A way to fix this problem could be hiring an extra teacher or assistant, to check on the students and help out. Another way is better discipline. The flaw with hiring more staff members is more expenses the school will pay for their checks. Now, what if teachers call in sick? What then? Will the assistant take charge? These unanswered questions are also a problem that will have to be answered. If the solution for this is a substitute, how would they deal with this inside a classroom of overflowing classroom with no clue of the system. I bought this would benefit the students at all.
At the end of the day all this trouble is not worth it all if the students get no benefit from it. These problems are a great threat injuries, attention problem, and distractions. None of this will benefit our students at all. As an individual I ask of your help to fight stop a problem of an overcrowded classroom mistake from happening. Our students need a staff place to be educated. I challenge the reader to help fight for the space the students need for a better education and a brighter future.

There are several things that I do everyday to ensure the saftey of my classroom. I always maintain an accurate child supervision record and do my classroom counts every 30 minutes, or more often when necessary, to make sure that my head count matches the actual number of children in my classroom. The way the classroom is set up also helps ensure the safty of the children. Our stations are set up to reduse open floor space and the opportunity to run freely indoors. I have also protected any sharp table or cabinet corners to prevent an injury if a child falls. I keep my emergency routes posted and easily visible from any where in the room and my emergency contacts are always with my CSR's and easily accessible. At the end of each day I clean and sanitize my classroom and remove any broken toys that could cause an injury to a child.…

Talking during class distracts other and shows no respect towards the teacher. A class is about 40 minutes long, when one student talks the teacher has to stop teaching and punish the student. This takes time from the lesson. Because the student was talking now everyone has to wait and they will not be learning. Therefore, it doesn't affect the one who was talking but also everyone else in the class.…

I am your basic do-gooder, and prior to teaching this class I blamed the poor academic skills our kids have today on drugs, divorce and other impediments to concentration necessary for doing well in school. But, as I rediscover each time I walk into the classroom, before a teacher can expect students to concentrate, he has to get their attention, no matter what distractions may be at hand. There are many ways to do this, and they have much to do with teaching style. However, if style alone won't do it, there is another way to show who holds the winning hand in the classroom. That is to reveal the trump card of failure.…

Lastly, when a student is in a class and they don’t ask questions or participate in class discussions, it can be a bad outlook on them to their teacher and be a bad outcome on their grade. In my IB social anthropology class in high school, my teacher would always shut students down when they tried to answer questions in class. Seeing that everyday made me scared to speak out in class, whether it was during a class discussion or just answering a question. I had a lot of smart classmates in that class as well, which made me even more nervous to participate. As the year went on, I could tell that my grade was dropping, not dramatically,…

The observation I made was during lesson with Class VI. There are 21 students (girls and boys), 2 were absent that day. They use the course book “New English Zone 3” written by Rob Nolasco and David Newbold. They have lessons three times a week which gives two hours and 15 minutes of English language a week. The teacher I was observing was the only teacher they have and he also taught them last year. With regard to class itself, the teacher underlined that they need extra attention because it is hard to keep discipline there and make them all focus on subject throughout the lesson.…

If there are too many students in a class (fifty students for example), it is a hard work for the teacher to have everyone’s attention. He or she needs to repeat ‘’quiet’’ or ‘’may I have your attention please’’ all the time. It’s a waste of time to do so. Moreover, it is hard for the teacher to take care students equally. He or she cannot answer questions for every single student during a fifty minutes class. Of course it is difficult to get everybody’s participation as well. Some students are lazy and don’t have interests on the lesson so they would chat or sleep in the class. Compare with small size classes, the teaching effectiveness of big size classes is much lower.…
