Finding and analysis of online used by Singapore youth The above graph reveals how many times Singapore youth surfing the internet for a variety of reason. According a survey conducted, the majority of people spend their times on internet for 0-3 hours. Nowadays the Internets are widely used for various purposes and provide us with so many positive things and are definitely going to be a part of our lives. Users can get vast amounts of information from the Internet. Users can use The Internet for both educational and entertainment. As the cost of computers is becoming more affordable so the number of users is rising day-by-by. Youths are more likely to spend a greater amount of time online as a investigative tool, surfing for information and resources for their school work which result in positive effect on the other hands, it can be affecting more and more people, including students' life in a negative way if they overuse of the internet. We must be aware of the negative consequences of overuse of the Internet. Some people are experiencing a negative impact in their lives because of their compulsive use of the Internet with so much information at our fingertips. In this graph the minority groups of people are using the Internet ranging from 4-6 hours and some overuse the internet more than 7 hours per day. It can affect their daily life in a negative way in a long run. It can interfere their lifestyle involving family, friends, school, financial and physical problems sleep pattern changes and the personal relationship with other.

The given bar chart shows information about what Singaporeans use internet for. Generally , 50 Singaporeans asked by survey questions state that all use online .30 % of Singaporeans use the internet for Social Networking followed by 14 out of 50 use internet for Online Games This is because people can get out of their worries and problems and share their feelings and expressions with their online friends . The Internet has been mainstream since the mid-90's and has only become more embedded in our lives. Yet, I find we are still discussing how to protect our children at a somewhat basic level. But most people are blinded by all the benefits of the internet, and fail to notice any of the problems that can come from overuse. Most of the time children spend on the computer can be attributed to the internet. This computer overuse results in less time for children to study, do homework, read, exercise, or participate in any out of their school organizations.
