*Standard emergency procedures
1. In the event of a fire:
a. Attempt to suppress Fire in early stages
b. Evacuate personnel by alarm
c. Notify fire department
d. Shut off utilities
2. In the event of a Hurricane, Tsunami or Severe Thunderstorms with Lightning:
a. Power off all equipment
b. Listen to emergency weather advisories
c. Evacuate area if flooding is possible
d. In the event of severe lightning, shut down main electric circuit and do not use telephone
3. In the event of an Earthquake:
a. Shut off Utilities
b. Evacuate building if necessary
4. Power Outage:
a. Pre-Stage emergency power generating equipment
b. Wait 5-10 minutes before implementing emergency power generating equipment
c. Power off all network equipment before implementing emergency power generating equipment
* Recovery Team First Steps
1. Make sure all personnel are safe
2. Determine impact of damage on facility and equipment

There should have been policies in place to ensure that antivirus/malware software was installed on the computer before it was allowed to connect to any network. A machine build checklist could be implemented to where after a computer is initially setup with appropriate operating software, all relevant applications needed would then be installed, including the antivirus software. The endpoint protection software could be installed in a standalone mode if the system being deployed was not going to be part of the larger domain network or if it was going to be used for short term testing. Otherwise it could be deployed from a central management server. It would at the very minimum have that protection on it.
