Fitness comes from the way you live all the time not just from experience done now and then
Everyone wants to be healthy in order to be energetic and happy. That is why the first thing we wish somebody on any occasion is health. Mass media advertises healthy life-style, everywhere we can see anti-smoking, anti-alcohol campaigns. When will we take a move? Why do we start to solve our health problems only after they become almost incurable? Isn’t prevention better than cure?
Traditionally, people of our country are associated with Russian dolls and there are reasons for that: almost every over-forty year-old person is overweight and it’s quite impossible to find a slender 50-year-old woman. But what is more unpleasant is that nowadays there are more and more chubby children who grow on granny’s pancakes and hamburgers and are lazy to play at snowballs. Our climate doesn’t allow us to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables every day during the whole year and people have to choose an economical variant-junk food. Yes, we can’t afford to buy avocado every day but we can eat beets, cabbages, carrots, apples which grow in our country and don’t cost much.
Smoking is not anymore in fashion -fitness is in fashion today. Everyone, without exceptions: a woman and a man, young and mature want to look good, be in good shape, have pure skin and white teeth, be in a good mood, etc. The stir about being in good shape is especially urgent in spring, before a vacation season, while in winter people lie on the sofa and eat pans of chips. But unfortunately, people think they can achive their goals simply eating fresh healthy food and doing sports only for one season a year. It’s quite impossible for a person who has eaten high-calorie food during a long period to cut it out once and for all. Who has eaten like a horse for all his life can’t start eating like a bird at once. So after a while, when they see some results and feel better they give in a bit and there arrives a total frustation of their “be fit” plan and they come back to the same way of life: junk food with no exercises. So as we can see people live according to the same schedule: gaining weight and loosing it. It only seems that such strict diets from time to time have positive results but they’d better know that doctors consider such schedule to be especially harmful for our body as it can lead to serious heart problems. Apart from that, stretch marks can develop because of unstable weight. Our organism has a huge stress during a strict diet and in future we’ll gain even more weight than we had before we went on a diet.
The only possible way to be fit without any negative influence on our health is to take fitness as a way of life. Diet cures more than lancet. Healthy food doesn’t mean totally testless food with no salt, sugar and so on. Food must be delicious and be attractive for your eyes. It’s enough to cut down on amount of food of every meal, don’t eat after 7 p.m. ,drink a lot of liquids and have fasting days as often as possible. So there’s no need to say goodbye to unhealthy food for the rest of your life. At time you can treat yourself. Temperance is the best medicine. And of course you should’n forget about doing exercises. I don’t meen that to be in shape you can’t servive without gym 3 times a week, but even morning gymnastics will help you to keep fit. Apart from that take any possibility to move: skating with friends in winter, cycling in summer and simple walk in the evening in good company will bring you positive emotions and a deep sleep. And in conclusion, don’t forget that a sound mind is in a sound body.

The Center for disease Control reports that cigarette smoke causes more than 480,000 deaths each year in the United States. This is about one in five deaths. The center adds that smoking causes more deaths every year than Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), illegal drug use, alcohol use, motor vehicle injuries, and firearm- related incidents. With this being a known fact there are still smokers in today’s world. The question that should be asked is why do people smoke cigarettes despite their proven dangers? Smoking cannot only damage or bring harm to every organ in the human body, but it can cause countless diseases. If people just stopped smoking altogether, they would decrease the risk of smoke-related diseases and most importantly…
