Flipped Characters

1. Juli Baker is the female protagonist and Bryce is the male protagonist in Flipped. Juli Baker falls for Brice at first sight because of Bryce’s beautiful eyes. However, Brice finds her annoying and tries hard to avoid her in primary school. He even chases for a girl who he does not like to keep Julie away.
His grandfather, Chet, who moves to live with his family mentions about Juli. Juli was posted on local newspaper because she tries to protect a tree. She finds peace and the beauty of the world while sitting in the tree. She sits on the tree for hours so that the workers will not cut it. No one helps her, including Bryce. The tree is cut at the end and she feels so disappointed in Bryce that she keeps avoiding him, but she forgives him
after he apologizes.
Juli Baker starts to sell eggs and she gives them to Bryce’s family for free. However, Bryce’s family are afraid of salmonella and Bryce is scared to tell her that, so he throws away all the eggs. Juli is again disappointed and angry at Bryce when she finds out.
Chet helps Juli with her yard which her family are lack of money to fix. Again, Chet talks to Bryce about Juli. Chet’s description of Juli makes Brice confused and love grows along with his confusion. After a meal between two families, Juli forgives him for throwing away the eggs. However, at the same time, Juli loses all her feelings for Bryce due to disappointment.
Bryce tried to kiss Juli in school but she runs back home. At the end, Bryce brings a tree and plants it in the yard of Juli house to show his regret. Juli is impressed and forgives him. They plant the tree together.
