What are the different parenting styles used by families? Which do you think is better? Why?
There are three different types of parenting, and they are authoritarian style parent, the permissive style parent, and the democratic style parent. The parenting style I think is better is the democratic style of parenting, because it involves the opinions of all the family, so no family members opinion is not unnoticed and the parent makes the last decision, after everyone has made their opinion.
What makes a person ready for parenthood? When should an individual consider entering parenthood? Who should postpone parenthood? Should everyone become a parent eventually? Do you think some people should not become parents altogether.
In my opinion what makes a person ready for parenthood is when they are finically stable, has a stable relationship with their spouse (possibly married), is in their right state of mind, and has a home and environment for the child to live in. depending on a person’s lifestyle that would determine if that person would eventually enter parenting hood.in my opinion I think people such as strippers, gang related people, crack heads, and people who are only trying to save their relationship should never become a parent.

Not everyone is ready to be a mother. Even at almost 30 I can honestly say I am not sure I am ready. I have a steady job and good insurance so paying for my contraceptive comes easy. Not everyone is as lucky. I couldn’t image myself being a mother and being responsible for another life at the age of 15 or even younger. There are millions of girls out there who cannot afford the cost of birth control and do not have access to it. We cannot force them to abstain from sex but what we can do is make is easier for them to get a contraceptive and hopefully reduce the risk of unwanted pregnancies.
