FOCUS 2 will guide you through a reliable career and education decision-making model to help you choose your major at Liberty University and to make informed decisions about your career. FOCUS 2 combines 5 self-assessments, career and major exploration, action planning, and decision-making materials in one comprehensive product. Customized with Liberty University’s majors, your assessment results are matched to career options and majors/programs offered at Liberty University.
1 Navigate to this address to take the FOCUS 2 assessment: www.liberty.edu/focus2.
2 You will need to click on the Online Student Registration link.
3 Proceed with the registration and log in as an online student with the ONLINE STUDENT ACCESS CODE: Eagles
4 Complete the FOCUS 2 Assessment.
5 On the Main Menu scroll down to where you see Your Name Career Portfolio.
6 Click on Review and Print Your Portfolio.
7 This will allow you to select/check the 5 self-assessments (Work Interest, Personality, Skills, Values, & Leisure).
8 Scroll down and click on the Build My Portfolio button. Your portfolio will appear in a separate window.
9 At the top of the report there are two options, click on save as PDF.
10 A PC will ask you to select where you want to save the file. An Apple/Mac computer will automatically save the file to Downloads. This will save the 5 self-assessments as one .pdf file.
11 Submit this .pdf file in Blackboard by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of Module/Week 7.
