Abstract
The aim of this paper is to critically analyse the document on the study focused community based research for eliminating CVD risk disparities in a rural. The document shall begin by identifying all variables in the study; identify the area of the study, establish how the research distributed the area of the study in order to ensure that the findings can be generalised, find out how the statistical analysis was carried out. Finally the paper shall analyse the limitations of the study, critique the findings and then establish the relevant finding

The possible main reason behind the choice of study design is because; descriptive study design is a statistical study used in research aimed at identifying trends in circumstances, but not the causal correlation among its different variables. On the other hand Descriptive studies assist in coming up with a hypothesis that shall assist undertaking of further studies. A retrospective study design is a study that entails gathering data on past events. This technique is mostly administered to assess and comprehend change and to incorporate a time length to the data that can be used to establish contributory factors causal to any identified change. The study aimed to understand the situation underlying the community in northwest Alabama through closely studying the medical history of CVD patients in order to establish risk factors faced by CVD patients.
