Glutathione and Metathione
What is metathione? Metathione is a kind of glutathione which is a small protein composed of 3 amino acids called cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine, produced normally by the body in response to today’s environment such as pollution in the air we breathe, water we drink, chemicals & pesticides in the food we eat that cause damages in our cells & system. While Glutathione is a small protein composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. Glutathione exists in almost every cell of the body. The presence of glutathione is required to maintain the normal function of the immune system. It is the master anti-oxidant of the body that aids in free-radical scavenging, immune boosting and detoxification of the body. In a research it shows that Metathione has Glutathione in it, so they are very similar in nature, though depending on what you're using it for, metathione might be more effective. Metathione comes in different forms including soaps, lotions, and pill supplements, and works by actually lightening the skins pigments and returning a lighter rosier complexion, which is thought to be more youthful and beautiful for certain skin complexions. Its active ingredient is L-Glutathione, and contains Alpha Lipoic Acid, L-Cysteine, and Vitamin C. So you can see that Metathione in fact uses Glutathione as its active ingredient.
