Forensic Entomology

Forensic entomology is a very interesting field. It is incredible how they can determine the time of death. They literally wait for maggots to grow larger so they can be easily identified. An entomologist can even use bugs to determine if the person was on drugs before or after he or she died. The other stages other than the fresh stage that you stated are called the bloated stage, the decay stage, the post-decay stage and the dry stage (“Forensic Entomology,” n.d.).
