Forensic pathology is an extremely hard field to get into, due to the limiting number of positions around the country. Anders Persson has created what is known as the “Virtopsy Table” (Navalkar). This table allows pathologist to freely examine the 3D image that was created with the help of the virtobot and virtopsy. The table uses a “large touch sensitive liquid-crystal-display (LCD) screen” to display the image clearly. The pathologist is then able to perform the “autopsy” on the 3D image with their finger.
