A forensic scientist has many different responsibilities. Forensic scientists must collect data from a crime scene and take it back to the lab. Then they will observe their collected data and run tests on it to find fingerprints or other evidence. Most of the day they will either be kneeling or standing unless they are sitting at their office. There are many things you have to do before you can become a forensic scientist.

A Job can be hard if you do not have the correct skills needed to work in a specific environment or with specific people. To be a forensic scientist you will need to have skills such as communication skills, composure, math and science skills, physical stamina, problem solving skills, and you must be detail oriented (Occupational Outlook Handout).
Almost everyone is concerned with the salary of the job they are interested in.
A forensic scientist could get paid more or less than 56,320 dollars a year, which is about 26.08 per hour (Occupational Outlook Handout). Every job has benefits and disadvantages, and when you are a forensic scientist there are a fair amount of both. Some benefits of being a forensic scientist are being able to find a job in your current area, you will work with a variety of people, everyday will be different, and there is a decent pay (Occupational Outlook Handout). While there are good things about this career there are also disadvantages, such as having to go through a lot of schooling, you won’t be able to go straight to work after you finish schooling, will have to spend most of your day standing and/ or kneeling (Occupational Outlook

In Conclusion, I think that if anyone is interested in this career they should follow it and do research on every detail to find out if they would like it or not. I hope that one day, if something bad happens, you will see me on the job to help solve the case.
