Of all the different criminal justice careers available, forensics or the forensic science is the career which attracts me most so I would like to choose this career. Forensic scientists are specialists who work on different crime scene in order to find different clues or finding which might help explaining the cause or the act of crime and the forensic scientists work with the law enforcement agencies as well as lawyers in court because they can come up with the required evidence which can help with a case.
Q. What are the minimum qualification of this career?

toxicology as well as some other criminal justice courses are a part of the under graduate program, the students of the forensic science are required to do a lot of extensive lab work and they have to do a proper internship as well, at least one internship must be fulfilled by every forensic student.
Q. What are the desirable qualifications?
The desirable qualification in forensic science is the master’s degree because it helps a lot in learning much more about this field and it also helps with higher and better positions in a lab.
A person with a master in forensic sciences can help him or her to become a lab technician leader as well as supervisor. Many people go for the master’s degree to go for specialization in DNA analysis or the ballistics.
Q. Will you meet the minimum or desired qualifications once you graduate from college?
A student who is following a career in the forensic science is taught some of the most important courses in the college, the students are taught chemistry, biology, physics, medicine and different criminal justice cases. The students work with their professors closely and they are taught legal procedures for taking cases to the court, human anatomy for figuring out evidence from a crime scene, trajectories of ballistics as well as fingerprinting and DNA. So student of forensic science is well suited to work in a lab or on the field.
Q. If not, what will you do to meet these requirements?
Even after a college degree, if a suitable job can’t be find in this field then the best thing to do is to go for a master’s degree and specialize in DNA analysis or the
ballistics.
Q. What will you do to make yourself "Stand Out" as a prospective candidate?
To make myself "Stand Out" as a prospective candidate, I will master myself with all the necessary lab working and learn to carry out tests and the preparation of results. I will do a proper internship and request for recommendations according to my performance. I will go to crime scenes and acquaint myself with the working of expert forensics to have a better and close knowledge. I will master my experience of forensic by working with law enforcement agencies and lawyers by visiting courts and seeing case proceedings. I will also work on improving my public speaking and writing skills.
Q. What do you see yourself doing in next 5 years?
In next 5 years I have plans to cover my Masters Degree in forensics and becoming lab technician, from where I will get enough knowledge to apply for specialization in DNA analysis.
