There are numerous examples of foreshadowing when referring to Harry. Right from the beginning of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone we see foreshadowing. When Mr. Dursley is on his way home, he overhears a group of people talking about the Potters, saying, “Mr. Dursley stopped dead. Fear flooded him. One question he asks to Harry is “Potter, where would you look if I told you to find me a bezoar?” In Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince, Harry ends up giving a bezoar to Ron after he becomes poisoned. When first presented with the term bezoar, Harry had not a clue what it meant or if it meant something useful. However, as previously stated, it becomes quite handy for Harry.
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry is eating food with a bunch of other people, where he is seated next to Dumbledore. Dumbledore ends up telling a story of how he was trying to find the bathroom but ended up finding a room that had a bunch of chamber pots. Dumbledore later went to look at the room again but was not able to ever find it again. In the next book (Order of the Phoenix), Harry ends up discovering a room where he can study spells by himself. This is the same room that Dumbledore had previously found.
One last example of foreshadowing I found was when Harry was having one of his dreams. He dreamt that in the Quidditch World Cup the Slytherins were going to arrive at the match on dragons that he has to dodge. In The Goblet of Fire, Harry has to dodge a dragon while on his
