was only “fate” for them to be together due to the inevitable real fate of ending the feud. Romeo is the character that refers to the stars the most throughout the entire play because he is one of the two the characters being completely governed by his idea of fate, which that Juliet and him were fated to be together. Shakespeare uses the stars analogy “Some consequence yet hanging in the stars” (1.4.13) this quote foreshadows the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets that consequently ends up killing them. This example of foreshadowing develop the theme because it's Romeo questioning his fate that is bound to come due to his immature and impulsive mind. Later in the play when Romeo believes that Juliet is dead when she is actually just asleep Romeo shouts “I defy you stars!”(5.1.24) this quotes represent Romeo and juliet breaking away from fates commands. Presenting that fate has done its part by ending the feud between the families and the rest will fall into place.
Shakespeare manifested signs of young impulsivity by …………………………………………………………………… as shown in the quote “ But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief that thou, her maid, art far more fair than she the brightness of her cheek would shame those stars as daylight doth a lamp; her eye in heaven
Would through the airy region stream so bright that birds would sing and think it were not night.” this quote PROVES that he claims to be in love with her but he only ever describes her appearance.
