Formulas of Surface area and Lateral surface area of Polyhedrons

LSA or Lateral Surface Area refers to the sum of the areas of all the faces of a three-dimensional figure, excluding its bases.
SA or Surface Area- refers to the sum of the areas of all the faces of a three-dimensional figure. It also referred to as the Total Surface Area (TSA).

For Rectangular Prism

LSA= P(h)
*where P=perimeter of the base ; h= measurement of the height

SA= 2B+ LSA
*where B= area of the base

*where the measurement of the radius is added to the measurement of the height and multiply it to the formula of circumference (2•Pi•R)

*where the radius and the slant height of the cone is multiplied to pi (3.14)

SA= Pi•r (r+l)

For Sphere

SA=4•Pi•r^2
*where the SA is 4 times the product of Pi and the square of the radius of sphere
