It was a relief to finally have someone around, just in case something happened. They discussed what happened that night and Parker tried to comfort Jack; but there was no point Jack had witnessed a murder what could be more traumatic. Parker had known the teacher and he knew of a few suspects, they traded theories. After few more hours of awkward chit-chat Parker wanted to go home, it was late and he was tired. Parker left but Jack stayed. After an ten minutes of staring off into space, Jack decided he should head home.
Still feeling quite paranoid, Jack wandered through the forest. Not really watching where he was going but more or less sulking and looking down at the path. Suddenly he saw blood, at first he thought that he was hallucinating, but on closer inspection, it was real. Jack was panicking, another murder, oh no! Jack nervously turned his head following the trail of blood. Every inch along the crimson streak made him feel more and more sick. But there was something wrong. There was no body, Parker was still barely breathing he saw something move. It was the murderer! He had to take Parker's bleeding body with him. Jack lugged Parker’s wounded body with him as he quickly moved as far away from here as he could. Carrying Parker fireman style, Jack finally found a place to hide. He found an opening with large tanks filled with gas scattered throughout. Jack and Parker ducked behind one of the tanks and prayed that the murder wouldn't find them. Parker started coughing up blood. This was all Jack's fault the murder must have mistaken Parker for him. Even though Parker was being noisy with his coughing, Jack quickly realized that the trail of his blood was giving away his location. Jack had to leave
