Fossil Fuel and Industrial Revolution
The Importance of Establishing a Healthy Enviornment There are many problems facing the world today; serious problems that could have grave consequences if not resolved within the next few years. However, there is one looming problem, which if not resolved, could make all other problems obsolete; the way that we take care of the environment, or rather the way we neglect it. The environment is a necessity for everyday life. Without the environment, we would die. How we chose to end global warming is interesting, because much of our daily uses affect the environment. The Industrial Revolution marked a major turning point in Earth’s ecology and humans’ relationship with their environment. The Industrial Revolution dramatically changed every aspect of human life and lifestyles. In this era, machinery replaced manual labor and fossil fuels replaced wind, water, and wood. The exploitation of natural resources such as coal and iron ore was also necessary to fuel steam engines for trains and boats in America during the 1800's. By the early 1900's, a huge increase in global factories and commercial sectors saw rapid growth economically. The start of car production was a turning point in history, not only because it revolutionized transport but also because the building areas released carbon emissions, weakening the ozone layer. Petrol was required to run vehicles, further damaging the air. The creation of chemicals, planes and in particular, plastics was a massive contributor to environmental destruction. As you can see now, the Industrial revolution has changed our lives for the better, but caused many problems along the way. Problems that could possibly lead to global warming. Here is the good news. US carbon emissions are decreasing rapidly. We're down over 10% from our emissions peak in 2007. Furthermore, the drop isn't just a function of the Great Recession. Since 2010 our economy has been growing, but emissions have kept on falling. The reason is because of

The industrial revolution was undoubtedly one of the most important events in the formation of the contemporary world. Sparked by the agricultural revolution of 1750 and 1880, the industrial revolution would transform Britain, and later the whole western world, into powerhouses of metal work, mining and industry. Beginning in England in around 1760, the revolution would continue well into the nineteenth century and bring around crucial inventions, such as steam pumps and railways. Crucially, the industrial revolution saw a switch from the use of wood and other bio-fuels such as charcoal for fuel, to coal for the very first time on a wide scale. It was this development that allowed the revolution to grow and spread across the whole world. Without the widespread mining of coal, the revolution simply could not have sustained itself. British lands were rich with coal, and there was a seemingly endless supply with millions of tons being processed every single year since the very beginning of the industrial revolution.…

The environment offers essential resources, like nutrients that are recycled to keep soil fertile, biological services, such as providing the global pollination of crops that we depend on for food, and natural improvements for our quality of life, such as controlling the chemistry of the atmosphere. These resources are vital to the survival of the human race, and are often taken for granted. Humans are constantly using these products and amenities to assist in their lives and consequently creating wastes that are put back into their surroundings. All people have the potential to impact the environment, both positively and negatively, directly affecting their resources available to them and the quality of life for themselves and all people on…

The Industrial Revolution sparked lots of new innovations from the 1700’s to1850’s, in the west. Such innovations led to many positive and negative social, economical, and environmental changes. Although Western Europe and the Americas stayed the same socially because middle class men earned the most of the money in the family, it changed economically because of the replacement of the putting out system with the factory system. It also changed environmentally, because of the need for more fuel for the new engines to burn.…

The Industrial Revolution has had negative effects on: the environment, children, and living conditions. The environment has taken a big hit from the Industrial Revolution. The use of so many natural resources has left the environment vulnerable to decline. One example is deforestation, which, despite giving us more wood, has left animals without a place to live. In addition, the lack of trees and the increase of smog are making it harder to breath.…

First, we have global warming, which is a problem that must be solved as soon as possible. Some ignorant people think that it won’t happen but we are actually living this situation right now, every single day. According to some NASA studies, since 1950, the average temperature has climbed 1.4Fahrenheit degrees around the world. As a consequence of this fact, an Arctic ice area, which was bigger than the United States, has melted this year! Another evidence of global warning is that the frequency and number of hurricanes and earthquakes around the world has increased the last years. The irony of all this is that even though we do realize what is happening; even though we know that we are destroying our planet, we are still polluting, wasting and damaging.…

According to sources, Nearly 7years into the Industrial Revolution people a lot of people were employed and making a decent living, it didn’t take a specialized training course to know what you were doing and you got to work inside a factory away from the rain, heat, snow etc. Pollution was only a small effect to a much larger greater effect. It allowed people more jobs and allowed people to rise above the poverty line and actually have a home and a family and a decent life rather than before. Although I give credit to say pollution is bad for the environment and we should try to keep it minimal, during this time you must keep focus on the extremely important rather than the minor problems that are outcomes of…
