Other religions may have the idea of a second coming of Christ, or a new beginning and a new start for the human race all together. However, in some religions, the ideas of how the end of time unravels may be distinct from each other. Some creatures or figures may come to the world and begin destruction. For Protestants, or believers of Christ, they believe in one myth about the end of the world, which is the beast.…

When Sergeant-Major Morris arrived, and as the three men sat around drinking, reminiscing and exchanging stories, Morris told the family a tale of a magical monkey’s paw. He explained how it had a spell put on it by an old Fakir, and that this holy man did so because he wanted to show that fate ruled people’s lives, and that those who interfered with it did so to their sorrow. Morris told the family that the Fakir put a spell on it so that three separate men could each have three wishes! He then proceeded to show the family the actual paw that he had carried with him in his pocket; and as they looked at it, and held it, he warned them not to use it, that they would be better off without it.…

It's what decides if you go to hells pit of shangra-la (heaven). There are 6 stages which we call joker cards. The first joker's card is the carnival of carnage it's the physical extension of the Dark Carnival. The Carnival of Carnage it is what the name would suggest, a traveling mass of social rejects and twisted, angry souls brought to the community that chose to ignore them, wreaking havoc on this community, rather than the ghetto they were trapped in. the second is The Ringmaster is, as his name suggests, the ringleader of the Dark Carnival. He gains his power from sin and hatred; he is made from each individual's sin and hatred. As such, his strength is different for each soul. The third is The Riddlebox is a small jack-in-the-box, adorned with only a metal crank and a question mark painted on the front. Your task is simple: you must turn the crank. If your soul is righteous enough, a Heavenly light comes from the Riddlebox and you may proceed; however, if your soul is too tarnished, the floor drops out from below you and Satan claims you for all Eternity. The forth is The Great Milenko he is a "necromaster", much like The Ringmaster, he is made from instead your greed. He clouds your mind with evil desires of greed and hate in a last-ditch effort to turn you from the path of righteousness. If you give in, you will be cast down into the Pit. The fifth is The Amazing Jeckel Brothers are twins, born…

Orientalism, simply put, is the perception the West has of the East. The concept was mapped out by Edward Said in his book Orientalism, where he explores the concept, its origin, and how it functions. Said states that Orientalism is "the corporate institution for dealing with the Orient - dealing with it by making statements about it, authorizing views of it, describing it, by teaching it, settling it, [and] ruling over it" (3). However, Said points out that even if Orientalism from the beginning was not "a creation with no corresponding reality" the concept he studies in the book is that of "the internal consistency of Orientalism and its ideas about the Orient ... despite or beyond any correspondence" with the "real" Orient (5). What Said is saying is that the characteristics drawn up about the Orient within Orientalism ar not necessarily compatible with reality. The Western eagerness to characterize the Oriental came from the desire to put a face to the unknown, becoming "a political vision of reality whose structure promoted the difference between" East and West, them and us, "the familiar and the strange" (43). Orientalism became a dictionary displaying the characteristics of the Oriental subject, characteristics that were fixed and unchangeable (42, 70).…

11-12: The second beast comes out of the earth and has two horns, where the first beast had ten, indicating that he is less fearsome that the first. These two horns are taken from Daniel 8:3, which depicts a ram with two horns that speaks as a dragon, “suggesting that its role is primarily religious” in nature. This second “knockoff of Christ” speaks with the voice of God (John 5:25-30), and uses the same words as the ancient serpent that lead the world astray. This second beast has “all the power of his predecessor” and helps the first beast, coercing the inhabitants of the earth worship the first beast. While the first beast spoke defiantly against God and his people, the second beast “makes the first beast’s claims sound plausible and…
