Francisco Pzarro Research Paper
Francisco Pizarro was born 1476 to Colonel Gonzalo Pizarro and Francisca Gonzalez, as an illegitimate child in Trujillo Spain. Growing up he spent most of his time with his grandparents and is said that he was a swine handler as a boy, meaning he performed tricks with pigs.

Pizarro has said to of participated in local manorial wars and after these ended most probably went to Italy to fight. In 1513 he joined Vasco Nunez in his march to the "South Sea" in which the Pacific Ocean was discovered.

Pizarro did not particularly want to have a settled life of a coloniser and was described as being a tough, quiet, and apparently unambitious man who could be trusted in a difficult situation. However he did go own to start his own colony.

Captain Francisco Pizarro formed a partnership in Panama with Diego de Almagro and the priest Hernando de Luque in order to explore the Pacific coast, looking for a Biru tribe that became the name Peru. His first expedition began in November 1524 with eighty men and four horses; but they suffered starvation, and Almagro lost an eye fighting natives. In 1526 they took two ships and captured a balsa raft with rich ornaments of silver and gold. Pizarro kept three captured natives to learn Spanish and be interpreters. The next year only thirteen men stayed with Pizarro on the Isla del Gallo; but in 1528 Pizarro discovered the Inca city of Tumbez. Saint José Ramón Agustín Pro Juárez, also known as Saint Miguel Pro, was born on January 13, 1891, in Guadalupe, Mexico. He was one of eleven children, the oldest boy. Sadly, four of his siblings died as babies or young children. From an early age, he was heartily spiritual, as well as mischievous; he constantly entertained his family with his humor and practical jokes. St. Miguel was a dauntless child and sometimes took his pranks and fun too far, putting him in several near-death mishaps. The third oldest in his family, St. Miguel was unquestionably very close with his older sister. After she entered a convent at age 20, he started to recognize his own calling to the priesthood. Though his father wanted him to continue with the family business, Miguel lived for God and entered the Jesuit novitiate in El Llano, Michoacán in 1911. He had been studying with the Jesuit priests for only a year when a religious revolution broke out in Mexico and by 1914, the Jesuits were forced to flee the country.…
