Franklin D Roosevelt Biography Essay

In Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 21, 1941, Mickey John Dyer was born. This was the same year Franklin D. Roosevelt was the President of the United States. In 1941 Franklin D. Roosevelt had to make the tough decision of declaring war with Japan after the bombings of pearl harbor on December 7th. Mickey was born from a Dutch immigrant parent named Gertrude and an American born parent named Lyle. Understanding his past, Mickey tells about some early stories on why his mother’s family originally moved to the United States.

His family would celebrate the holiday by going out on a picnic together. Mickey first meet his beloved wife, whom he describes as loving and very religious, at Aquinas College. He first saw her in the hallway and said it was love at first sight. One time she was babysitting for her cousin in the apartment next door to his, so he asked her for a date. She said she didn’t know him so Mickey introduced himself and asked, “So how about that date?” She accepted his invitation and they have been together ever
