Student Organizations are categorized into Fraternity/Sorority, College-Based Organization and Non-College Based Organization. Moreover, student organizations provide a great opportunity for students to enhance and to develop their leadership skills. Joining a student organization gives you also an opportunity to expand your over all educational experience, whether it’s a student organization of a specific field of study, or an international student organization, it will often improved your social life, gain self confidence, acquire leadership skills at it will also teach you how to function as a member of a group or a team of the organization. Although there are many different reasons to join a student organization the two main reasons for students to get involved in of the many organizations is to learn new skills that are beneficial in any job setting and to make many new friends who are also a member of the organization. Nevertheless, some are still uncertain of the reasons why they are engaging themselves to student organizations. Thus, this study is sought to find out the reasons of CLSU students in joining student organizations.

This study was undertaken to find out the reasons of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) students in joining the student organization, S.Y. 2008 to 2009. Specifically, it sought answers to the following research questions:
