Freak The Mighty: Similarities Between The Movie And The Book
I believe that the book of Freak the Mighty was better than the movie. A similarity between the two is that Max still realized he was smart without Freak. Because of Freak’s death, Max realized he could do things on his own, and he wrote a book all by himself. The book had way more details than the movie. While in the book Freak had a seizure and goes to the hospital, the movie had Freak die in his sleep. I find the book’s ending much more intriguing. In my opinion, the book is better and much more interesting than the movie. In the movie, they left out a lot of scenes. They left out the scene where Freak had his birthday party and had a seizure. They also left out the scene where Freak got the police, and Max was in the burnt house

The life of Christopher Johnson McCandless has been a source of both inspiration and controversy throughout North America. His trek into the Alaskan wilderness, which led to his eventual demise, left him remembered as heroic and reckless, a brilliant artist and an irresponsible egotist; but regardless of what one’s opinion is on Chris McCandless, there is no denying that he is interesting and has inspired a variety of works in the media, including author Jon Krakauer’s Into the Wild, which was adapted into a film in 2007. Though both the novel and film follow the same storyline, the two have their inevitable differences.…

The book is superior to the movie because the book has more details and more to go off of to show the reader the real picture of what really happens throughout Ender’s life. Another reason why the book is better and more interesting than the movie is because it is very interesting how the author puts the story into the future, showing new technology and what might happen in the near future. Watching a movie will be intriguing, but reading a book will definitely hide some surprises as the reader gets more depth in the…

While these similarities show what these pieces have incommon Freak the Mighty and The Mighty still have differences that make them distinctive. Although the characters have the same names, I have got to say there appearance was definitely incorrect. In the book Max was said to be 7 feet tall, while Kevin was said to be 2 feet tall. In the movie Max was about 6 feet and Kevin was the height of an average 6th grader at Eldorado K-8 ( about 4”6’). Kevin was supposed to have blond hair and blue eyes ( the movie gave him brown eyes and brown hair) while Maxes appearance was not clear in the book. Additionally, in the book, Kevin and Max seemingly lived in suburbia while the movie gave the impression they lived in much more of a city. For example, the old testaments seemed much bigger and better-looking than described in the book ( broken toys and ragged and dirty children who seemed a little broken themselves). The minor problem in plot detail is a third difference. In the movie, Kevin is apparently Max’s LD…

What are the differences between watching a movie and reading a novel? There are some contrasts between the two actions. One of the differences is by watching a movie, you just need to sit and relax. It is very easy since you only need to watch it and understands it. Furthermore, you can watch the movie while doing something else such as eating or exercising. You do not really have to focus like to imagine how the atmosphere is in the movie at that time or how a person is walking down the streets. Of Mice and Man is a great movie with surprise twists. Even though they took out scenes from the book the put their own scene in order to make a good movie while sticking with the book. The way they hook the person to watch the movie by adding a thrilling chase scene and we don’t know what’s happening so we want to keep watching to see why they are being chased and hiding. I personally would give this movie 5 stars because it is one of the best movies from a book I have…
