2) Jenna & Julien Podcast. If you don’t know who Jenna Marbles is, I’m sorry, but where have you been? You might remember Jenna from her highly popular and hilarious YouTube channel, and by highly popular I mean having over 16 million subscribers. Jenna and her boyfriend Julien have a podcast now (hence the show’s name), and it never fails to put a smile on my face. Although the podcast is usually has their topics centered around lighter subjects, Jenna and Julien are not afraid to talk about more serious issues too. Overall, this podcast makes you feel like you are hanging out with two of your funniest friends, as Jenna and Julien could not be more down to earth and relatable.
3) Call Your Girlfriend.
Join Ann Friedman and Aminatou Sow every other week to listen to commentary on politics, pop culture, feminism, and more. Their expertise and input on the current events will impress and enlighten you, sometimes making you laugh too. Eavesdrop on these besties conversations now!
4) Planet Money. Maybe it’s the business side of me, but this podcast rocks. I’m constantly learning about new things about the economy, and I’m not even bored! We all know NPR can make a good podcast, and Planet Money is no exception. They make learning about the economy so entertaining that you’ll actually want to tell your friends about it.
5) TED Radio Hour. Wow I’m sure you’ve never heard of Ted Talks before!!! Obviously kidding, but if you haven’t already checked out this podcast, definitely do it. It’s a compilation of Ted Talks that will inspire and educate you. What’s better than that?
