Free Narrative Essays: The Influence Of Six Flags
I am at my Aunt Dee and her 3 daughters’ home; I am there because we are going to Six Flags today along with my cousin (Zhane). I wake up and clean my shoes, afterward, I wait for everyone to finish breakfast. They finish and we head out to pick up Zhane. We pick her up from her house and go to Walmart because my Aunt needed to return something and then we head straight to Six Flags. We find parking. My Aunt parks and everyone goes to the restroom, they get out and we go to the entrance.
As a group, we head to the first ride the Georgia Cyclone, we ride that, and then we ride a cluster of other rides until it starts sprinkling. I head out to get water and then we all somehow get split up. I get a call from Aunt Dee and she asks me where I’m at I told her “Ironically, I’m right next to the lost children building.” She asks me “where’s Zhane” and I say “I don’t know wait there she is” as we discover that we are nearby each other. My Aunt says she is by the

We go to the wrong one and then we call her and she says we are at the wrong one and as we walk out of the restaurant we notice that the rain is picking up. We start heading that way, it starts raining cats and dogs, but we find it but we go to the other restaurant. We would text her but both of our phones are dead.
While in the other restaurant, we order drinks, I notice these two girls and I buy them a water. They say thank you as we exit and we find them in the restaurant. We say “We’re back” and then my aunt is now in a joyous mood, even though all of the rides are closed at least for an hour. Aunt Dee asks us if snuck off to ride rides without them. We assure her that we didn’t and that the rides were closed anyway. We order food and then sit

The Scio Township Hall was nearly silent when I entered. There were only a man and a woman sitting at a table on the one side of the meeting room. I was about to ask if I was in the right place, but before I could open my mouth, the woman greeted me and introduced herself as a member of the Land Preservation Commission (LPC). One by one, other commissioners started to trickle in, smoothly joining in on the conversation about ordinances presented at the Board meeting a few days prior. I wondered if I was supposed to just catch on. After a solid twenty minutes of casual talk, Alec Jerome, the Land chair, finally called to order. Roll call was conducted and the following commissioners were present: Archer Christian (secretary), Jim Crowfoot, Alec Jerome, David Read, and Barry Lonik (consultant to Commission), and one relatively new member. Apologies were received from Leslie Desmond and Bruce Manny. I was the only member of the public in attendance. Then the agenda was adopted and the May meeting minutes were approved.…

To begin with, after colonization, Kenyans received equal chances in their education. School was peaceful because the headmaster was severe with anyone. Their instructors were white, but they never spoke of color and never talked down to African Americans. “Njoroge wished the whole country was like this‒‒He tried to bring out the good qualities in all, making them work for the good name of school.” (Doc. 9). Although education was not compulsory for African Americans, they were still given the opportunity to learn. There were 3,442 schools for 395,000 students and the government expenditure was 1,500,000 pounds (Doc. 10).…

When I reached Riya’s house it was 11.45am on Saturday morning. It was a beautiful morning. Riya was in a high chair in the kitchen. The grandma was feeding to Riya. I went quietly and stood few steps away from the grandma. Riya looked at me. Then the grandma started talking to Riya. She then turned back to the grandma. She boiled rice, dhal, carrot, beans, potato, tomato with salt and grinded, and added little ghee with the mashed rice. Riya seems to like that food and when grandma says “uh” bringing the spoon near Riya’s mouth, she opened her mouth and swallowed the food. Riya’s fingers were banging on the high chair table, while legs kept constantly kicking. I noticed Riya is expecting grandma to talk and interact with her each spoon. After I went, for the first spoon, the grandma told “Chellakutty” open your mouth, Riya’s hands hit the high chair table, and leg kicked in the air. While bringing the second spoon, the grandma said “En kannulaa”, and then jumped with joy “nga, ngaa”. Riya’s grandma brought the third spoon to Riya while talking to her mom, Riya looked at her…

My mom and I were running late. Not like it was anything new. We were supposed to be in Moulton no later than 5:30, and now it was closer to 6:00. We finally pulled into the apartment complex, where we were supposed to meet this guy, at a little after 6:00. After searching for this guy for a few minutes[->0] and a few phone calls, we assumed that we had missed him. "See Mom, you should have gotten off of work early," I said just as I saw the guy pull into the parking lot. "Hey are you ready to move into your apartment?" asked the guy. After a few minutes of struggling to get the furniture into the apartment, I figured it was the end of the adventure. A few weeks[->1] later, after getting home from work, my mom was telling me that I would never guess who had called her earlier in the day. Not being in a great mood, I just shrugged my shoulders as to suggest that I didn't really care. Then she asked me if I remembered the guy who we had met just a few days before. She told me that he had called to ask her if she wanted to go out one night that coming weekend.…
