Free Time In Middle School

I think we should use freetime in our middle school classes incase we need to get caught up on any work we are behind on or be able to step away from school if we have been doing too much in our classes. If we had free time we would have more people getting their assignments done on time and no one would be ineligible for sports. Or if someone was gone or sick they could get caught up on the assignments they missed or if they were gone for a long time they would also have that free time.

Some people would say that free time is a waste of school time and that it’s not letting us learn enough and that we are wasting our day and that we could just do it on our own time at home. Or if free time was just time to relax then we would be messing
around on their computers or doing nothing productive just sitting there .

But would the teachers rather have people with F’s in their classes and lots of late assignments or would they rather have people that have acceptable passing grades with free time it would make our school day easier as students and teachers if they need to take time thinking of what they are going to do next and gather up all the things they need for it. And the time to relax could be just because they are giving us too much to do and we need to step away from school work

That is why I think it would be better to have free time then having to sit in class and do nothing. For people that need to get there work done and have been gone for a couple days or longer could get it done and people could be passing. And having time to relax would make the school day easier if the teachers are giving you too much and you need to step away and take time off of school. Or for teachers need some time to think about what they're going to do next and have some time to get it ready.
